We cannot believe who stopped by the Island this morning! What looks to be a huge bat ray washed up on shore earlier today and was spotted by a fisherman. He gently guided the ray back out to sea, rescuing it from being beached. Although stingrays are common in Coronado because of the warmer temperatures, rays of this size are not. It is amazing to see such a beautiful creature up close, and to see good people taking care of our ocean life!
